The Academy of Dance welcomes you to our 2009-2010 season! The Academy of Dance and School of Performing Arts offers a complete program of professional training in classical ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical and musical theater. We are committed to providing an atmosphere of artistic excellence, combined with love and discipline in which every individual can develop to their fullest potential establishing goals for themselves, thereby aiding to self confidence, poise and self awareness, whether their goal is to become a professional or simply dance for the pure joy of movement. Welcome to the world of dance. We are now enrolling for Fall 2009! This Fall we have a variety of classes and programs to satisfy the schedule of any student. We offer classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical and Musical Theater. We also offer combination classes for children ages 3-5 as well as classes for Adults. For the more committed dancers we have an award winning competitive dance team that performs and competes regionally throughout the year at various dance competitions. We culminate each year with a dance concert held at the Civic Arts Plaza, Fred Kavli Theatre. Our next concert "Celebrate 2010" will be held on Saturday June 26, 2010.
