COMBINATION CLASSES A combination class is a an introduction to rhythmics, dance and creative movement developed specifically for the young dancer ages 3-8. Basic fundamental locomotor skills and movement vocabulary are developed through movement & dance. Dance forms such as ballet, tap and jazz are explored in a creative and fun environment. Ballet instruction will include basic positions, stationary and traveling ballet movements, ballet foot and arm positions are introduced. Tap instruction includes simple steps and rhythms, center combinations steps such as brushes, flaps, shuffles, stomps and stamps. Jazz curriculum includes jazz walks, leaps, isolations and other popular movements. Combination classes build confidence, self esteem, poise & posture. Perfect for the curious young one! |
